Class #96
Fun with Polymer Clay
Judith Yamamoto
3 sessions beginning Wednesday, February 13 from 9-3
3 consecutive days, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Polymer clay is one of the most exciting new art materials to come along in a long time. It can be formed, sculpted, molded, or worked into the intricate millefiore designs developed by the Italian glassworkers of Murano. In this class, playing with the possibilities of polymer clay, you will learn why and how it has seduced so many creative people and become a significant art medium. Plus, it’s just plain fun. Bring your own tools, including blade and pasta machine if you have them. If not, Judith will supply the main equipment (pasta machine, cutting tools, rollers). Each student will be provided 8 oz. of clay.
Location: Shepherd of the Bay, 11836 State Highway 42, Ellison Bay
Tuition: $50
Materials Fee: $18 for written instructions and 8 oz. of clay plus use of Judith’s supplies and equipment, payable to The Clearing at registration
