Registration Information
How to Register
Class sizes are limited. Early registration will help ensure that you get the class you'd like. You may register for classes by:
- Mail: Complete the Registration Form and mail, along with full payment, to The Clearing, P.O. Box 65, Ellison Bay, WI 54210.
- Fax: Complete and Fax the Registration Form to The Clearing at 920-854-9751. Include your Visa or MasterCard number and expiration date.
- Internet: Register on this website by clicking on the Register Online button at the bottom of each Class Description page.
- Phone: Call The Clearing at 920-854-4088 or toll free at 877-854-3225. Have your Visa or MasterCard number available.
Fees and Pricing
Information on fees and pricing is listed at the end of each class description. Prices include tuition. Some classes may require an additional materials fee. These are noted at the end of the class description.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds are available only if you are unable to get into the class(es) of your choice or if The Clearing cancels a class. Cancellations up to 3 days before the class start date receive a refund minus $20. Cancellations 1 to 3 days before the class start date receive a refund minus $30. No refunds will be given for cancellations on or after the class start date.
Meals
All full-day workshops, except where noted, include a catered lunch. Lunches generally include a variety of sandwiches or wraps, tossed salad or pasta salad, fresh fruit, dessert and a variety of beverages. There will be a one-hour break at noon for lunch.
Lodging
Lodging is available in Ellison Bay and Sister Bay. Beginning on October 27, The Clearing will have a limited number of rooms available for students to stay during their class. Please call The Clearing for more information regarding off-site and on-site lodging.
Accessibility
The landscape at The Clearing is somewhat rugged in places. Although every reasonable effort has been, or is being made to make the grounds accessible for students with physical disabilities, some students may find our campus difficult to negotiate. Please call The Clearing to discuss any concerns you have regarding accessibility
Office and Jens Jensen Center Hours
- 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Additional Bookstore and Visitor Center Summer Hours: (mid-May through mid-October) noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays
Admission Policy
Students must be at least 18 years old to attend classes at The Clearing. All students are welcome at The Clearing regardless of race, sex, religion, nationality or ethnic origin.
