This is an accessible, introductory class for anyone who has read or heard that yoga and mindfulness can be helpful--but is not sure what it is, or where to begin. Starting with discussion, you'll explore how yoga and mindfulness can help you improve your day-to-day lifestyle and improve your resilience in coping with life's challenges and change. You'll also experience a brief, gentle chair yoga class. A lighthearted approach makes this class comfortable for yoga first-timers, caregivers, mindfulness "never-thought-I woulders", and people who are reintroducing movement after physical (or emotional) illness.
