Join us to hike or snowshoe some of Door County’s beautiful parks and preserves. Various local guest experts/naturalists will be our guides. You should be prepared to hike/snowshoe for 1-1/2 to 2 hours over uneven terrain by layering warm clothing, wearing insulated hiking boots, snowshoes (optional) or anti-slip grippers such as Yak Traks, and bring hiking poles or walking stick (optional). A listing of locations to be visited will be e-mailed shortly before the first class. Traditionally, participants meet for an optional lunch at a local pub prior to the hike. After the hike, participants may choose to gather in a class member’s home for refreshments and snacks. A Wisconsin State Park vehicle sticker may be required for some hike locations.
Location: Class members will be provided a listing of the hikes by email shortly before the first class.
