2021 Workshop Program
& COVID-19 Response
While things are improving with regard to COVID-19, much care still needs to be taken. We appreciate your respecting The Clearing's requests/requirements listed below for the health and safety of your instructor, fellow students, and staff by noting the following for all 2021 Workshop Program classes. Thank you!
Any information regarding changes to the class experience made necessary by COVID-19 will be posted on The Clearing’s website, www.theclearing.org, will be sent in future emails, will be included in class confirmation letters.
The Clearing will not require everyone who comes for a Workshop Program class to be vaccinated, but do very much hope that everyone who does come, and who had the opportunity to be vaccinated, took advantage of it.
If you have not been vaccinated by the time you come for a class, please consider having a COVID-19 test done beforehand.
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms related to COVID-19 infection, please stay home. All class cancellations this year will include a full refund of any payment made for a class.
The Clearing will require mask wearing in all indoor spaces, including classrooms. Disposable masks will be available, if needed.
Workspaces will be socially distanced, and classes will have limited, and in some cases, reduced headcount maximums than in previous years.
A hand sanitizer station will be at the classroom entrance and hand washing can be done in restrooms.
Windows may be open during class, if weather cooperates, for fresh air flow, so please bring a sweater or wrap, if you feel it is appropriate for your comfort. There is forced air furnace heat and air conditioning, if needed, as well, with an iWave air purifier system.
The Clearing will be providing individual boxed lunches vs. buffet-type lunches, as had been provided in the past.
You are welcome to bring personal beverages for the day as no communal beverages (i.e., no coffee, no water pitchers) will be provided. Glasses and tap water are available.
