Denise Arzberger

September 12 & 13 | 9 - 4

Keep organized with this medium sized shelf basket. Begin with a sturdy filled base. Woven sides will feature an accent in your choice of colors. Finish this with a rim that includes a pair of decorative ceramic handles for strength and ease of use. Join basket designer Denise Arzberger who welcomes all levels of weavers. Finished dimensions are approximately 12"L x 12"W x 9"H. No weaving experience is necessary. A supply list will be sent and is available at www.theclearing.org.

Denise Arzberger has appreciated baskets for their function and beauty for as long as she can remember. She took her first basket making class in 1989; from then on, she was hooked! Denise enjoys designing baskets for functional use. Many patterns she has designed and taught are intended to add a creative twist to a traditional style of basket. Denise has taught since 1995 at technical colleges, recreation departments and The Clearing, as well as at basketry conventions in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
