Class #32

Fused Glass Ornaments

Nance Tucker

October 31 - November 1 | 9 - 4

Join glass artist Nance Tucker to make some holiday (or not!) fused glass ornaments. You will make several small pieces that can be placed on a holiday tree, hung in a window, and/or given as gifts to friends. Explore color options and design choices. Nancy has many ideas! Please bring your own scissors and Sharpie markers (one black and one silver). Items will be fired and shipped after class.

Nance Tucker has been working in glass for many years and has been concentrating on fused glass for over ten years. She is a juried regional artist with work in several galleries and teaches students at The Clearing and in her home studio. She studied with Nancy McCabe, who taught glass fusing at The Clearing for several years, Richard LaLond, Patty Denny and others. Nance says, “It’s such a joy to come to a place as wonderful as The Clearing, create something beautiful, and have an amazing time!”
