2023 Workshop Program
& COVID-19 Response

With regard to COVID-19, much care still needs to be taken for classes to take place. In an effort to keep our students, instructors, volunteers, staff and community safe, The Clearing’s staff and Board of Directors continue to monitor developments with respect to the recommendations of agencies like the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

We appreciate your respecting The Clearing's requests/requirements listed below for the health and safety of instructors, fellow students, and staff by noting the following for all 2023 Workshop Program classes. Thank you!

Any information regarding changes to the class experience made necessary by COVID-19 will be posted here.

Current Response For Workshop Program Classes:

  • If you are experiencing any of the symptoms related to COVID-19 infection, please stay home.

  • The Clearing is currently not requiring students and instructors to wear a mask when indoors. Masking is optional.

  • A hand sanitizer station will be at the classroom entrance and hand washing can be done in restrooms.

  • Windows may be open during class, if weather cooperates, for fresh air flow, so please bring a sweater or wrap, if you feel it is appropriate for your comfort. There is forced air furnace heat and air conditioning, if needed, as well, with an iWave air purifier system.

  • The Clearing will be providing individual boxed lunches vs. buffet-type lunches, as had been provided in the past.

  • You are welcome to bring personal beverages for the day; coffee (regular and decaf) and tap water will be provided.
