Workshop Description

Class #19

Summer Splash Watercolor

Bridget Austin

August 26 & 27 | 9 - 4

Celebrate summer in watercolor! On day one, we will enjoy fresh and flowing colors to capture flowers and gardens. On the second day, a Door County landscape will be the subject, with lessons on trees, rocks, and water. Both subjects will include creative color, simplifying the subject, and creating depth through negative painting. Images and study sheets provided, but feel free to bring your own inspiration. Students with at least some watercolor experience will find this class helpful. Use your favorite supplies and a supply list will be sent prior to class or is available online at www.theclearing.org.
