Nature’s Abstract Vertical Collage Landscapes
October 28 & 29 | 9 - 4
Nature is the largest form of abstract art and in this collage workshop we will be exploring intimately the vertical format using nature as our inspiration. Day one of our workshop will be all about making our palette of collage papers, using found and discarded papers, acrylics, stenciling and stamping with mixed media. Day two we will collage layers of the richest earth and skies with all the wonderful details in between. We will also learn how to work with image transfers on our pre-coating collage papers and heat fuse it all together with a tack iron. A supply list will be sent prior to class and is available online at www.theclearing.org.
