In the quiet of winter, trees put their energy into their roots. Many plants become dormant. This retreat will honor winter’s opportunity to rest and digest, through engaging activities that calm the body, activate your creativity, and ignite your vision for the year ahead. Enjoy art making, journaling, gentle chair yoga, and guided imagery meditation. All levels are welcome, an aptitude for painting or drawing is not needed. Art materials will be supplied. Feel welcome to bring your journal and favorite art supplies. Please bring lunch and water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes; bring layers as classroom temperatures can fluctuate.
