Class Details
This class will be an introduction to small/mid-scale bronze casting. Methods used will include creating a positive object/tile form through the carving of and/or adding of materials to an oil-based clay substrate. Making a green sand mold of the object/tile form. Melting and casting bronze into the prepared mold. Clean-up, patina and finish of the bronze object/tile form.

Additional Fees
Material cost will vary based on the amount of casting (how much Bronze by weight) each student does. Example, a 3†x 3†tile will cost approximately $8 to $10.
