Open Studio Weaving
Feb. 4, 5, 11 & 12 from 9-4
This studio class is for students wanting to carry over a project from Beginning Weaving (see class #4) or start a new one, as well as experienced weavers who want to work with help and oversight. Bring your own weaving yarn or choose from Carol’s array of mercerized cottons and shetland wools. In Week 2, a sewing station will be set up if you’d like to construct an item from your handwoven fabric. A few helpful tools to bring: tapestry needle, calculator (or app), pencil/notepad and a sack lunch. Please note whether you need a Clearing rental loom at time of registration.
Location: Workshop Stovewood Room at The Clearing
Materials Fee: Depends upon materials used payable at class. Optional loom rental available for $7 payable to The Clearing at registration
On-line Registration: For your convenience, on-line registration is available for Winter Program classes. You will receive confirmation that your registration has been received in the office, however, class openings are assigned based on availability, and if needed, via the same lottery procedure and rules that apply to Mail and In-person registrations.
