Experience a full-circle photographic workshop! We will spend the first half of each day in the field taking photos where Karen will demonstrate techniques and work with students to capture better images. The second half of the day will be in the classroom. Karen will demonstrate her editing workflow and work with students to enhance their images. Image sharing options including web, social media, prints, and books will also be demonstrated. This hands-on workshop is for beginning and intermediate photographers (any camera model) with Lightroom, Photoshop Elements or similar editing software on their computer. A pre-class letter will be sent.
Karen Alesch is an avid photographer, specializing in nature, bird and landscape photography. She has exhibited in Door County at the Hardy Gallery and in Milwaukee area at the Museum of Wisconsin Art, the Sharon Wilson Center for the Arts, and the Walker’s Point Center for the Arts. Karen spent 20 years in the training industry, was a co-founder of an online training company and currently serves as a corporate learning consultant. She has spent time in Door County for more than 30 years and enjoys photographing its beauty in all seasons.
