In this workshop, we will hear and learn from Door County sustainability leaders. Representatives in the fields of farming, hotels, restaurants, and buildings/construction, will describe how they are taking action to lead in sustainability and climate change mitigation. Let’s learn more about what actions are already underway here, how we can better communicate the benefits of climate action, and how we can support Door County businesses, sectors, and groups, to promote and share sustainability actions. We’ll provide examples of leadership and have several guest presenters from different sectors discuss their missions, outreach, and practices. And we’ll work together on ways we can help accelerate and broaden these successful sustainability and climate mitigation efforts.
