The renewed interest in the ancient art of glass casting has prompted production of many easy-to-use ingredients and casting molds. We will focus on color development, mixing, weighing, and filling the molds with glass powders, frit, sheet glass or pate-de-verre (glass paste). Create 2 beautiful glass castings from various molds (i.e. butterfly, dragonfly, snowflake, floral, gingko leaf, heart, sun, hummingbird etc.). No glass cutting experience needed. Gary will contact students prior to class.
