Class Details
In this workshop students will enjoy exploring, experimenting, and experiencing the endless possibilities of printing on fabric. This class will appeal to printmakers, quilters, fiber, and mixed media artists. Students will be encouraged to be playful and spontaneous as they explore a variety of techniques including painting, stamping, and stenciling on fabric using textile paint. By the close of the workshop, students will have had the opportunity to print on tote bags or linens such as table napkins and kitchen towels as well as create yards of uniquely patterned fabric to use for future projects. Open to all skill levels. JoEl will contact students prior to class.
JoEl Levy LoGiudice loves to share her passion for weaving with her students. She has taught weaving at Florida Community College, the Appalachian Center for Craft, Tennessee Technological University, Vanderbilt University, Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts, the John C. Campbell Folk School and The Clearing. JoEl enjoys exploring new ideas and techniques for weaving.
