This class will focus on painting with brushes, pens, fun new inks, and magical effects. You will learn the basics to create your own vibrant abstract works of art. Alcohol inks are brightly colored, acid free, dye-based paints that create free flowing textures and design. They are fast drying and evaporate quickly, requiring a non-porous surface such as synthetic paper, ceramic tile, or a specific prepared canvas. We will introduce you to working with Mixatives and Pearls (some of the Magic). Some prior experience with alcohol inks would be helpful but the class is open to beginners. Wear old clothes or a smock and bring paper towels, several small size craft brushes and a tray for your work if it is still wet.
