History
When Jensen died in 1951, only a partial foundation and excavation existed. The south wing was built in 1954-55 with insurance money when the first Orchard House burned down (see site 26). The north wing was built in 1959. Both were remodeled in 1993-94.
Today
Today the West Dorm is used as a residence for students and instructors during the Summer Program. The West Dorm contains seven two-person rooms.
